God
speaks to us as a father to his precious son
through the inspired words of King Soloman.
As Children of God because of the obedience of
Christ, God's Son, we too can share a Father's
wisdom! I encourage you, whoever you are, to read
God's word, the Bible. Take a moment to believe
Proverbs as the words and wisdom of a loving Dad.

PR 1:8 Listen, my son, to your father's instruction
and do not forsake your mother's teaching.
PR 1:9 They will be a garland to grace your head
and a chain to adorn your neck.
PR 1:10 My son, if sinners entice you,
do not give in to them.

PR 2:1 My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,
PR 2:2 turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding,
PR 2:3 and if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,
PR 2:4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
PR 2:5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.

PR 3:1 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
PR 3:2 for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you prosperity.
PR 3:3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
PR 3:4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.
PR 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
PR 3:6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

PR 3:11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline
and do not resent his rebuke,
PR 3:12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.
PR 3:13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom,
the man who gains understanding,
PR 3:14 for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.
PR 3:15 She is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
PR 3:16 Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.

do not let them out of your sight;
PR 3:22 they will be life for you,
an ornament to grace your neck.
PR 3:23 Then you will go on your way in safety,
and your foot will not stumble;

PR 4:1 Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction;
pay attention and gain understanding.
PR 4:2 I give you sound learning,
so do not forsake my teaching.
PR 4:3 When I was a boy in my father's house,
still tender, and an only child of my mother,
PR 4:4 he taught me and said,
"Lay hold of my words with all your heart;
keep my commands and you will live.
PR 4:5 Get wisdom, get understanding;
do not forget my words or swerve from them.
PR 4:6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;
love her, and she will watch over you.
PR 4:7 Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

listen closely to my words.

and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

find His deep, understanding, love for you.
